From 4 generations of cooks who officiated behind the furnaces of the family house of Les Echets, Christophe Marguin could only follow the worthy lineage of these ancestors and become Chef Cook.

But he did not just succeed, he also created "his history"…

Passionate about his job, gourmet as much as gastronome, he starts a culinary initiation course with great French star chefs and Anglophones to return in 1991 take the reins of the family restaurant a few years later with his wife Nicole.

Several times crowned (first prize Prosper Montagné and International Prize Pierre Taittinger since 1996), this iconic chef has become over the years a major player in the world of Lyon gastronomy.

Invested in many associative mandates - both in the Associations of professionals in the culinary arts than in regional organizations -, participating each year in the jury of multiple culinary competitions, this chef engaged has never ceased to promote gastronomy and to transmit its values ​​to new generations.

Having never hidden his passion for the capital of Gaul, he left his region birthplace of the Dombes in 2017 to acquire the restaurant LE PRESIDENT located on the banks of the Rhone - in the 6th arrondissement of LYON.

A predestined name for this Chef President of the Toques Association Lyonnaise for many years, and for which he was elected to unanimously Chef of the Year in 1997 by his peers such as Messrs Paul Bocuse, Pierre Orsi or Jean-Paul Lacombe...
