Awarded in 2013 the prestigious title of ‘Chef de L’Année a L’International’ by the Toques Blanches du Monde, his cuisine recognizes the authenticity of Lebanese food and its traditions while enriching it with surprising combinations. He is also the founder of Maroun Chedid SAL, a company that offers culinary consulting services and specialty catering in Lebanon, Monaco, India, UAE, USA, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. In January 2016, he launched a new Lebanese-Mediterranean gourmet product line, Georgette by Maroun Chedid, inspired by his mother and celebrating a Middle Eastern heritage. His future projects include the opening of a new restaurant and cooking academy in Beirut in summer 2016.
