A press conference held under the patronage of his Excellency Minister of Tourism, Mr. Fady Abboud on February 15, 2012 at Phoenicia Hotel Beirut
Presidents of associations and syndicates from the hospitality industry expressed their support again for Horeca and announced the new activities and plans to this industry for the coming season.
Joumana Dammous-Salame, Managing Director of Hospitality Services announced the increase of demand for Horeca 2012 and she confirmed that 90% of the space has been reserved. Salame added “Horeca 2012 will be the occasion for industry professionals from the region to gather under one roof during the 3 days event, network and checkout the competition”.
Horeca will host more than 350 exhibitors from: France, Iran, Jordan, KSA, Poland, Thailand, Turkey and UAE.
As usual local and 10 international chefs will participate and preside the Hospitality Salon Culinaire; 15 categories and 150 cooks representing well known establishments.
On this occasion, Press Award was distributed in recognition to the Lebanese media which have been following Horeca over the years.
The press conference was followed by a brunch at Eau de Vie

Horeca 2012 will open its doors from March 20 to 23rd from 4 to 9 pm and will welcome professionals from the hospitality industry along with the media.
