Beirut, the Gourmet Capital of the Middle East

This year more than 15,000 professionals from the region will visit HORECA, looking for new ideas, sourcing products of tomorrow and discovering the latest technological solutions.
To all our loyal exhibitors, visitors and participants we invite you to discover and experience HORECA 2009 and its world of events packed with passion, energy and excitement.

The exhibition: Over 200 exhibitors representing every sector of the hospitality and food markets, from farmers to multinational giants will showcase the latest in guest amenities, technology, furnishings and fixture, linens, uniforms, tableware, fitness and leisure, cleaning and maintenance, management and foodservice equipment and supplies, as well as food and beverage.  New themed pavilions will highlight nutrition and health trends, schools and universities, and Lebanese designers.

The competitions: HORECA will foster free expression of talent and innovation across the industry. Hundreds of participants will compete in our regular Hospitality Salon Culinaire, Delifrance International Sandwich challenge, Junior Chef competitions, Lebanese Bartender competition, Table-setting competition and National Olive Oil competition.

Workshops, daily demonstrations and conferences
: In order to keep pace with the changes and challenges faced by the industry, and to highlight emerging trends daily workshops, conferences and demonstrations given by international and local experts will be at the heart of HORECA 2009. Italy, France, Spain as well as Cyprus, Malaysia and Yemen will present their culinary savoir-faire.

International guests: We are honored to welcome international key personalities, speakers and chefs coming specially for the occasion to share their knowledge and interact with industry players.
